Apart from deducing his Law of Universal Gravitation, Sir. Isaac Newton deduced the following three laws of motion:
An object at rest or in motion will remain in that state until acted upon by a force.
The force of an object is equal to its mass times acceleration (F = ma)
A force exerted on object A by object B will be accompanied by an equally strong force exerted on object B by object A, in the same straight line but in an opposite direction.
